The term ‘pH’ stands for ‘potential of hydrogen,’ which is the measure of a solution’s hydrogen ion concentration. It is a measure of acidity or alkalinity on a scale of 0 to 14 – Zero being extremely acidic, 14 being extremely alkaline and 7 being neutral. When a solution is neutral it means there is complete balance between acid and alkaline. The human body tries to keep a tight range around neutral on the pH scale – between 6.8 (slightly acidic) and 7.4 (slightly alkaline). The most important thing to remember is that your blood pH needs to be maintained between 7.365 and 7.400. This is because blood needs to be slightly alkaline to nourish your tissues, organs and organ systems.

Someone who is slightly delusional and thinks that things are the best all around?Or someone who sees every flaw and mistake in most cases?
People who see the world more clearly, are less happy and satisfied than individuals who engage in positive self deception.
Simply put, people who do not engage in positive self deception are difficult to deal with hardships. Such individuals are more likely to focus mistakes and dwell on problems.
As such, lying to one’s self, to a certain extent, is useful when it comes to live unstressed life.
Self deception helps people cope with life’s problems, it helps people maintain a positive self-concept, and it helps most engaging cases get along better.
Unfortunately, there are many examples of people who have built illusions; illusions which end up being costly to maintain in the long run.
To a certain extent, relationships could not survive without some level of self-deception. But too much optimism or denial, can be just as costly.
The trick is to engage in self-deception in order to see the best in a partner without letting self-deception create too much vulnerability.

Eating any food late at night could affect the quality of our sleep, and perhaps cheese often takes the blame.
To get a good night’s sleep, you need to drop one degree of body temperature. If you eat too much fat or sugar late at night, your body doesn’t want to burn the calorie.
Our body temperature fluctuates as we sleep and if that is thrown off balance it can disturb our sleep.
One reason cheese and vivid dreams come about is that eating later before bed is more likely to disrupt sleep, and cheese can be hard to digest.
But there is some research that suggests that while eating higher-energy evening meals can raise our night-time body temperature, this doesn’t necessarily translate into a poorer night’s sleep especially in winter.
