Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31, and Halloween 2021 will occur on Sunday, October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

Being able to “go with the flow” and be flexible in your thinking is a necessary skill for dealing with life’s inevitable changes.
This is a trait that helps us adjust more easily to new circumstances, challenges and situations as they arise.
An area of the brain called the anterior cingulate gyrus (ACG) tends to be overactive in people who have difficulty with cognitive flexibility.Located in the front part of the brain, the ACG is involved with shifting attention.
When the ACG works well, it allows us to focus on something, let go, and then shift to focus on something else.
It has been noted that the ACG has many “serotonergic” fibers and that people who tend to be rigid in their thinking or behavior may have a deficit of serotonin.
For many, a diet with a higher ratio of complex carbohydrates to protein can be helpful.
Serotonin levels can also be raised by eating foods rich in L-tryptophan which is a building block of serotonin. Such foods include chicken, turkey, salmon, beef, nut butter, eggs, and green peas.

Positive reframing

The concept of a mental frame has become more widely known in recent years — that human thought is structured within the body as emergent patterns with implicit logics, structured roles and relationships, and emotional sensibilities.

Sometimes we fail bc of unsuitable frame.
Sometimes we fail bc of our own bad habits.
Sometimes we fail bc of lack of principles.
Sometimes we fail bc of lack of core vision to the goal.
Sometimes we fail bc of our own characters.
Sometimes we fail bc of the right idea.
Sometimes we fail bc of our own weakness.
The many sometimes repeating in repetition pave us a way to where we should be as we are who we are.
Sometimes there is a success in disguised as a failure.
But what is failure?
The lack of the required action which we thought to be right will not surely prove to be right when the frame is not right.
We humans are searching for a needle in the big pile of hay…
Of course, success rate is known.
A magnet?
A lighter?
A broom?
Time?
Effort?
Make a new one?
Or cautious not to drop?
What is the use searching for the needle?
What else is in priority?
Many philosophies arise.
Many questions?
There is always a better choice everywhere.
Inertia is why we stuck.
Only we choose or change after a big failure..

I am struggling daily to be more disciplined. I need to put my frame on a stable me, but I am in the nature of flexibility. I am putting myself in the successful frame that is not my nature. I need a frame to make myself successful to be I am as I am.
But changing and reframing self or changing and reframing surrounding, is a dilemma.

To be successful, the screening in all actions and thoughts are limited. Most are found in the common value.
Simple tricks of humans psychology lead every where easily. Doing the right manners, behaving good and speaking language which are acceptable. These are required. To have discipline in them, the courage to lose one self is required…

If we still want to be we, still we can be. But we can’t survive as long as we are stubborn as we. We need to merge with others to be acceptable as we change to be others…

So I decided to be a new me from now on. To a new frame of me….

A journey in life is a journey of finding oneself in another self..?

Adaptation to challenges

We fear change because it means that outcomes are unknown. Our brains are designed to find peace in knowing. When we don’t know what will happen, we make up scenarios and, in turn, create worry. Humans find it hard to move on when something known comes to an end.

For someone with anxiety, something as minor as a last-minute change of plans can lead to a downward spiral of overthinking, which in turn can manifest as a feeling of panic, doom, heart palpitations, rapid breathing and feeling of guilt.

Metathesiophobia, or what’s more commonly known as the fear of change, originates from the Greek word “meta”, meaning changes and “phobos” meaning fear. Most people worry about the future and question themselves, but for some, this fear of change can be much more debilitating.

Adaptability expands your capacity to handle change, no matter how serious it might be. Instead of throwing away your energy trying to change your circumstance, you will change yourself right from within, thus making you thrive in whatever situation you find yourself.

In this era, just doing what is able is not enough to be survival decently. Drastically change in all fields is escalated due to the extreme weather consequences such as physical disasters e.g. infectious disease, mental disasters e.g. fomo and geological disasters e.g. floods.
Little margins do humans have. Just being mentally strong is the only way to adaptation.

So, not everyone can adapt the changes. Some will be sacrificed. It’s a shocking reality. Who will be on the rescue boat? Who should be eligible? Who will keep stamina in swimming for another chance? Many hands are stretching out for the last boat…
Humanity, to be a decent human, is a challenging now.
Don’t blame the poors for being inapt. They do sacrifices for being inapt to fill the other side of the world..Please make a life line safety net for inapt humans.
