Globally, it has been estimated that headache disorder is about 50%. Half to three quarters of adults aged 18–65 years in the world have had headache in the last year and, among those individuals, 30% or more have reported migraine.
Headaches affect us in the course of a year. The good news is that 90 percent of headaches are “benign.” That means they aren’t harmful or dangerous. The bad news is that 10 percent of headaches are a sign of a serious condition which requires an emergency evaluation.
