Today, we enjoyed the time with pizza and rice dumplings. It’s good to taste homemade flavor in this time of long stay home. Spreading the doughs , making the balls, boiling, baking, taking photos and eating memories are pleasures especially for parents and children to spend the time together.

Rice dumplings requirements

Glutinous Rice Flour Click on the link to buy on Amazon store.

Recipe for SESAME rice dumplings

  1. Add water 60ml for 100g glutinous rice flour.
  2. Knead the dough.
  3. Add water 10ml x 3 times until the dough holds together.
  4. Divide to make 3 rod shapes dough.
  5. Cut the rod into 5 pieces to make them into ball shapes.
  6. Boil in hot water until the balls float.
  7. Put them into the ice cold water for 2 minutes.
  8. Drain the dumplings to dry.
  9. Use toothpicks to pick the balls.
  10. Hold the stick ball & roll over the sugar mixed sesame powder.

Recipe for JAGGERY rice dumplings

  1. Cut 2~3 jaggery into small pieces.
  2. Melt them in the pan.
  3. Add water 50ml/piece to prevent char in the pan.
  4. Hold the stick ball & roll over the melted jaggery.
  5. Similarly, roll over the coconut flakes.

Pizza tomato sauce, Pepper, Olive oil (Buy them at the local market store.)

Recipe for pizza

  1. Knead the dough as an instruction on the pack.
  2. Spread it on the board and roll to make it flat.
  3. Make the thickness to your favourite.
  4. Heated the oven to 230 degree in advance.
  5. Spread the olive oil in the baking tray of the oven.
  6. Place the flat dough on the tray.
  7. Put the olive oil on the dough.
  8. Spread the pizza tomato sauce on the flat dough.
  9. Put the thin sliced sausage, mushroom and thin sliced onion.
  10. Put cheese flakes all over the surface.
  11. Add pepper powder.
  12. Bake for 15 minutes.
  13. Add the basil powder to serve.
