What is Easter?
Easter is a time to remember Jesus’s pain and suffering. Easter Sunday is the day of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, which is written in the New Testament of the Christian bible. Jesus Christ died after being crucified on the cross on a day called Good Friday. He was then resurrected and came back to life on Easter Sunday 19th April for this year. Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon.
Othe Easter’s names

Meaning of Eggs and Rabbits
The egg, an ancient symbol of new life, has been associated with pagan festivals celebrating spring. Egg hunts and egg rolling are two popular egg-related traditions. Eggs are said to represent Jesus’s emergence from the tomb and resurrection.
The story of Easter Bunny is thought to have become common in the 19th Century. Rabbits usually give birth to many babies, so they became a symbol of new life. Legend has it that the Easter Bunny lays, decorates and hides eggs as they are also a symbol of new life.
