How to cook colorful beef curry rice

  1. Cook the rice (Source: by Lauren)
  2. Cut vegetables into a spoon size (carrots for orange, potatoes for yellow, red chilli pepper, common bean for green)
  3. Cut the 300g beef into spoon size block (stew purposed beef is preferred.)
  4. One big size onion, 1/4 of garlic bulb, 1 thin slice of ginger, one middle size tomato (blend all 4 of them in the mixer)
  5. Put 1/3 ladle of vegetable oil into the pressure cooker pot and heat until it smells
  6. Put items of No.4 paste into the hot oil and stir until the color changed
  7. Put the small blocks of beef into the fried ingredients No.6
  8. Stir until the meat blood smell are going off
  9. Add the curry power the same amount as the oil (amount enough to make the paste, the beef and the vegetables surface all mixed well with the power)
  10. When the paste and meat are stirred well mixed with the spice, add the vegetables
  11. Add some water until 2/3 the height of the ingredients
  12. Set the pressure cooker lid carefully (Please read the cooker manual carefully for the safety use. )
  13. Cook for 15~20 minutes depending on the meat condition
  14. Put the curry beside the rice and add some coriander green leaf on top of the curry if available in your region
  15. Ready to serve (PS: Curry in Japan need not to add salt. Depend on the type of powder you buy, add salt if required.)

The same procedures for chicken curry, too. Please enjoy your meal.

Today I cooked beef curry, and I studied about the curry spices to make a blog update. Curry is very easy to cook and convenient for housewives. The onions, vegetables, meat, beans and fruits can be cooked with curry spices. Various recipes are possible. Flavor like coconut and yogurts also can be added for more taste variations. That means, cooking various curries every day is possible eg. dry curry, paste curry and soup curry with different amounts of spices. It can serve for 2~3 days if it is fridge enough. In busy days, curry not only save your time but also boost your stamina. Children like curry and they even eat a second plate. The spices not only boost our metabolism but also kill the bacteria in the body. The health benefits of the spices are high level. How about cooking curry menu every week for your health? PS. Don’t make it salty.

Ingredients of CURRY SPICES and their health benefits

Coriander powder:
